And here we are.

So, this is it. After eight years, the seventh generation will officially come to an end after this. Back in October, I more or less decided on the ten games that I absolutely enjoyed and how they made me love this cycle of hardware that has come from 2005-2013, and now, it comes to this.

On Sunday, from just before midday, you’ll see a main post that’ll be stickied at the top of the blog. On the hour, beginning at exactly midday, a write-up of a game will go live separately on the blog and will be highlighted on the list by then. So for example, at midday, the tenth-placed game will have a write-up go live and be listed on the main GOTG post at the top of the blog, followed by ninth at 1pm and so on all the way up to the Game of the Generation itself at 9pm.

But that’s not all. From midday onwards, I’ll be streaming each one of those ten games, from 12pm onwards to the time I wrap up the stream at 10pm. You’ll be able to hit the link for the stream below, but you’ll also find it in the main GOTG post and also in each of the ten writeups.

HIT THIS LINK TO WATCH TEN OF THE GREATEST GAMES OF THE GENERATION BECAUSE TWITCH CAN’T BE EMBEDDED DIRECTLY ON HERE – THANKS FOR THAT, WORDPRESS.

It’s going to be a fun day and I hope it’s going to be one that’ll provide some discussion. See you on Sunday!
